THEORY TEST HELP – THEORY TEST TRAINING

All learner drivers must pass their driving theory test before they can book a practical driving test. The theory test comprises two parts – multiple choice questions and hazard perception. The learner driver must pass both parts of the test to be successfully awarded a theory test pass certificate. This is then valid for 2 years, which means you have to pass your practical driving test within this period of time. If you don’t, then you’ll have to resit the theory test!

The multiple choice element of the test includes 50 questions – and to pass you need to score at least 43 out of 50. An 86% pass mark is pretty high, but considering all the answers are presented to you, hopefully with some good revision and a little common sense, you should be able to find the right answer.

The hazard perception part of the theory test involves watching 14 video clips and identifying hazards within the clips. The pass mark for the hazard perception test is 44 out of a total of 75.
